A Curriculum Built For School Readiness

The preschool years are when children shift from absorbing the world to actively engaging it — asking questions, making connections, and beginning to understand who they are. At Agape Spanish Immersion Academy in Hugo, MN, our preschool program meets that curiosity with a rich, structured curriculum that builds academic skills, bilingual confidence, and a strong sense of purpose.

We serve preschool families from Hugo, Forest Lake, Lino Lakes, White Bear Lake, and Centerville, and across the north metro. Agape is the only Spanish immersion preschool program in the north metro Twin Cities area.

Preschoolers at Agape engage in a purposeful, inquiry-based curriculum that prepares them academically while keeping learning joyful. Every activity is intentional, designed to build the skills children need for kindergarten and beyond.

Building Bilingual Thinkers

By preschool age, children who have been in our program are hearing, processing, and beginning to produce Spanish with growing confidence. For new students joining at this stage, immersion begins immediately through songs, routines, and daily conversation, and children adapt faster than you'd expect.

Bilingual learners show measurable advantages in executive function, attention, and creative problem-solving. At Agape, those advantages are built on a foundation of community, relationship, and joy.

Character That Goes With Them

By the time a child completes our Pre-K program, strong character isn't something they learned in a class, it's part of how they see the world. Stories, meaningful conversations, and daily moments centered on kindness, empathy, and purpose equip our graduates to carry those values wherever they go next.
