Infant Curriculum

The Infant Curriculum at our Christian Spanish Immersion Academy is designed to provide a loving, Christ-centered environment that supports your child's spiritual, emotional, and early language development. From the moment infants enter our care, they are gently immersed in the Spanish language, surrounded by rich, age-appropriate interactions in both Spanish and English.

Through Bible-based songs, simple prayers, and stories, we introduce foundational Christian values such as love, kindness, and trust in God. These early spiritual lessons are woven into daily routines, helping infants develop a sense of security and God's love in their lives.

Our curriculum also promotes sensory exploration, motor development, and social-emotional growth, all within a safe, nurturing setting. With personalized attention from caring staff, each infant’s unique needs are met as they begin their journey in both faith and language, laying the groundwork for future learning and spiritual growth.

Infant Routine

At Agape the infant routine is thoughtfully structured to provide a sense of security and promote early development in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment. Here's an overview of a typical day:

Morning Welcome & Prayer
The day begins with a warm welcome and a brief prayer, inviting God’s presence into the day. Infants are gently greeted by caregivers and are engaged in quiet, calming activities to start their day.

Language Immersion
Throughout the day, infants are surrounded by both English and Spanish, with caregivers speaking in both languages during playtime, feeding, and interactions. This early immersion fosters language development and familiarity with Spanish in a natural, comforting way.

Bible Stories & Songs
Incorporating Bible stories and simple Christian songs is a key part of the routine, helping to introduce biblical values like love and kindness through age-appropriate, interactive experiences.

Playtime & Sensory Exploration
Infants engage in stimulating sensory activities that promote cognitive and motor skills development. These activities include tummy time, reaching and grasping toys, and exploring different textures, sounds, and shapes.

Snack & Meal Times
During snack and meal times, infants are cared for in a calm and nurturing environment. Caregivers continue to speak in both languages, making mealtime a natural opportunity for language learning.

Nap Time
Infants are given quiet, restful time in a peaceful setting. Caregivers ensure each child feels safe and comfortable, offering a calm environment for rest and rejuvenation.

Interactive Play & Socialization
The afternoon includes more interactive play, such as singing, simple games, and group activities that foster social interaction. Infants begin to engage with peers, learning to develop early social skills.

Closing Prayer & Goodbye
The day concludes with a brief prayer, thanking God for the blessings of the day, followed by a warm goodbye from caregivers. Infants leave feeling loved and secure, with hearts and minds ready for another day of growth.

This routine creates a consistent, loving environment where infants can develop spiritually, socially, and cognitively, all within the context of Christian teachings and bilingual immersion.
