A Curriculum Built For School Readiness

This is the year it all comes together. Agape's Pre-K program is designed for children who are one step away from kindergarten — and we take that step seriously. Our graduates don't just know their letters and numbers. They raise their hands, follow multi-step directions, navigate friendships, and walk into their first day of kindergarten with quiet confidence.

We serve Pre-K families from Hugo, Forest Lake, Lino Lakes, White Bear Lake, Stillwater, and across the north metro. Agape is the only Spanish immersion Pre-K program in the Hugo area.

Our Pre-K curriculum is intentionally aligned with kindergarten expectations so children aren't just prepared, they're ahead.

Independent Thinkers and Problem Solvers

Kindergarten teachers consistently report that the children who struggle most aren't behind on academics—they're behind on independent thinking. At Agape, we prepare Pre-K students to handle challenges without falling apart.

Preparing The Whole Child

Kindergarten readiness isn't just academic. We intentionally build the social and emotional skills children need to succeed in a classroom environment.

  • Independence: managing belongings, transitioning between activities, completing tasks

  • Self-regulation: identifying emotions, managing frustration, staying focused

  • Social skills: sharing, taking turns, resolving conflict, and showing respect

  • Classroom readiness: listening during lessons, raising hands, following routines

  • Confidence: participating in group settings and taking on leadership moments
